A nurturing hand when the map has run out.
This charity exists for women who were misdiagnosed, dismissed, or never given meaningful support, women whose exhaustion was treated as a character flaw, whose pain was not believed, whose nervous system was asked to perform wellness it did not have. Some reach a point of being simply depleted. Not lazy. Not ungrateful. Empty.
The Sanctuary Circle is women holding women. A circle, not a waiting list. A funded place so she is not told to “invest in herself” when she has nothing left.
What a funded place can be
It might be a short stay in a rest house or wellness retreat. It might be a course of reflexology. It might be one quiet hour that belongs only to her. We look at each application as a person, not a case. We cannot promise every request. We will try to accommodate as many women as the pot allows.
How the pot is filled
The charity is held up by gifts: donations, GoFundMe, fundraising, grants, and people who offer a service rather than money, a room, an hour of care, so a woman can be met while we wait for a fuller piece of funding.
